Kettleburgh Village Hall Scrub Pine Suffolk Testimonial
“In our village we are blessed with an old hall. In 1924 there was a gift of land from a local farmer and our Village Hall was then built by subscription. It is to all intents and purposes a wooden hut with more recent extensions to provide an entrance foyer, kitchen and toilets.
The original building requires constant TLC because of its age and usage, so we raise finds by various means mainly used to keep it in good order. One of our greatest joys and at the same time our greatest headache is the very fine original pine board floor this has not changed in 90 years but it does require regular attention. In the last 10 years this been in the hands of Roger Hyde Ltd. and in 2017 after 9 years wear and tear they were asked to again carry out work to clean, strip and re finish the whole floor.
I have been this morning to have another look at the finished job and am well pleased with the result.”
