We are delighted to share a project we worked on in a hotel gym. All floors are used differently and as such need a different refurbishment.
We were asked to refurbish this Junckers gym floor as it was looking scratched and tired. We completed a sand and seal to refresh the floor and brighten the gym once again, enhancing the guests’ experience, and leaving a positive impression when they stay at the hotel.
Preparation, communication and planning before works commence is so important. Especially within hotels; pre-project meetings with the operations/facilities managers is essential, to arrange convenient timings and access of when the works can be completed. During the pre-works meetings other project details are confirmed, such as, any noise the works may cause, the duration of the works, any logistical issues and the movement of furniture and equipment.
The works were completed with no issues. We completed the works during some night and day works to fit in with their schedule. The hotel removed the gym furniture and equipment before we arrived, so we were able to get straight on with the works and the hotel put the equipment back once the floor was dry enough to use.
The pre-works communications we had with the customer ensured that we were aware of everything the customer wanted, so there was nothing to worry about. Every consideration was accounted for and that meant the prject was completed on time, within budget and the customer was extremely happy with the results, giving us a wonderful testimonial:

After your Junckers floor has been installed, we recommend that it is scrubbed and sealed by a flooring technician every 2-5 years to keep it looking like new, with a sand and seal required, again by a flooring technician approximately every 10-20 years, depending on the wear and tear the floor receives.
We offer a free site survey to assess your floor, providing any maintenance recommendations and work with you to your budget to ensure the health of your floor is maintained.
