Vinyl can be the perfect alternative to wood floors
There is a fantastic variety of vinyl floor coverings, all of which appeal to personal taste and will enhance any room or facility. They are hard wearing, stable and easy to maintain.
Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) are available in a broad range of effects and finishes, including stone tile or wood effect plank. These are suitable for any commercial or residential areas. We can provide samples on well-known brands, such as Polyflor, Altro and Amtico.
Sheet vinyl comes in a wide range of colours, designs and finishes, including anti-slip. Larger areas are easier and quicker to complete and in turn therefore more cost effective. We supply quality well-known brands, including, Altro, Polyflor, Gerflor and Tarkett.
Vinyl floors are often used to enhance the aesthetics of a room to replace existing flooring, particularly when welded joints are failing, or the surface is worn, uneven, bubbled or cracked.
To replace a vinyl floor area, we will uplift and dispose of the old vinyl (and the cove forma around the perimeter in wet areas). Preparation of the sub-floor consists of replacing with either ply or screeding and self-levelling, and if required, damp proof membrane, which we would normally recommend. We can discuss other trims and perimeter details to finish the floor with you and provide and install these when replacing the vinyl.
Why choose vinyl floors:
- Huge range of colours, designs and finishes
- Improve and enhance the aesthetics of a room
- Easy to maintain
- Hard wearing
- Suitable for all types of business
- Floors can be back in use either the same day or next day at the latest
